One thing that has suffered over the last few weeks consequent on the pressure of changes in our schedule and house sale has been running. How nice then to go out and run on a fine morning. Sets you up for the day. To bring you all up to speed on where we are in our plans - the house sale is still stalled as a buyer awaits her divorce before she can accept her mortgage and we can move to exchange of contracts. Could be the end of next week, could be 2 weeks after that. We will then need to find an apartment locally in double quick time before we leave on the first part of our travels.
On the subject what we have currently got planned is:
Ireland - June 2nd-13th
Kent & Sussex - June 18th/19th
France - June 20th - 29th
Back then to book next years NZ treks on July 1st
Turkey - Mt.Ararat trek - July 5th-15th
Europe trip - France/Spain/Germany/Denmark from July 21st-October 1st
After that provisionally it is a flight to SE Asia probably Bangkok about November 10th.After visiting the countries in this area onto Australia after New Year and then New Zealand for 2 months before going on to Japan,China and Mongolia before coming back early May 2009. We decided against a Round the World ticket as we will need to backtrack to go everywhere we want to go and that would be costly. After sometime back next year we will provisionally go to South America. But that is a year ahead and plans might change.
