Invited to Nigel Boulding's house, Kate's ex-Managing Director in Finchampstead. A very pleasant afternoon with him and his family and other members of the management team. Thanks Nigel & Sue - the food and wine were excellent.
What was not pleasant was news of my team Bristol City's defeat in the Championship play-off final at Wembley to Hull City. Still always another year. Hope springs eternal in a football fan's heart.
